I'm picking up this game tomorrow. Anyone else getting it?

I'll prpbably pick it up too.. it looks pretty good and fun for a little bit.

relying on squad seems pretty fun, i wouldn't mind playing with APG again though..

Sorry not me. I did not really LOVE the demo, and have always thought that while BF games have had potential they have never lived up to it for me.

I played the SP of the previous one and it was fun, kinda kooky though. Never tried the MP and can't imagine I would like it. These other MP FPS all seem to be so crazy and out of control. COD has problems but at least it seems a bit more refined.

Did you play any BC2 last night?

I had some major problems conencting to online games.

It would conenct me and I would choose if I wanted to join a squad or not..

Then it loads then it kicks me back out to dashboard... did you experience that?

I am connected through a router but I connected it straight to my xbox.. I tried to get a game going this morning and it said that there were no games...

...... Sigh ....

Boomer, I haven't tried out the game yet. I hope to try it today, time permitting.

It looks incredible. Let us know what you guys think of it. I really miss being able to blow open the side of a building to kill a guy or complete an objective. I just wish DICE would've gotten rid of the squad-only communication. It was so hard to get any sort of strategy going in BC.

It is a fundamentally different game, for sure. I remember adapting to BC pretty quick, but when I came back to CoD4 I was horrible.

So far, single-player is better than in BC1. But not as good as MW2.

I'm really enjoying the online tactical squad style of gameplay in BC2. I never played online in BC1. It's cool how each class has necessary and useful skills. It's cool when you get each person to select one of the 4 four classes. It's not as good when you get 3 team members want to be snipers.

One cool thing is spawning next to your teammate. It's deadly when the sniper can get behind the enemy and hide back there and call out enemy positions. Then when you die, you can spawn behind them again. It's like having a living, shooting tactical insertion.

The online gameplay is different but works really well when you have a good squad mix.

DAMM Marine anyways. I thought I would get away with not playing on-line. I tried one and I was hooked. For all you SNIPERS you would love it, They are hard to spot. The maps are freaking huge. The got TANKS, Choppers, Quads, Jeeps etc. The guys who have played it alot could tell you more. I will still play MW2 more but if we have alot of APG playing at one time I am jumping over. The only complaint I have is that I have to get a VIP Map pack that cost 1200 MS points.
